Not only is the Timbavati one of South Africa’s top destinations, but it is also a reserve where a complete wilderness and deep connection to wildlife can be felt. 56 000ha of pristine wilderness, which boasts great sightings of wildlife as well as home to the big five.
The Timbavati Traverse was born as a fund-raising event whereby participants are able to use their fitness skills as well as wildlife passion to assist in raising additional funds to support the Timbavati and its neighbouring underprivileged communities.
It gives entrants the opportunity to explore the Timbavati and give back at the same time. Unparalleled views, breathtaking experience, high-quality catering & entertainment and the ultimate give-back fund-raising opportunity.
